Trivia
Rangers win the treble for the fifth time!
Rangers also became the first Scottish club to qualify for and play in the newly formed Champions' League. A fantastic performance in the competition was only ended by Marseille who qualified instead of Rangers. The French outfit were later banned from the following year's competition because of match-fixing claims. What could have been!
