Trivia
Manager Ally McCoist was placed on gardening leave in late December whereby his assistant Kenny McDowall became caretaker manager.
Kenny McDowall then left the club and Stuart McCall became manager on the 12 March, 2015.
Rangers, despite finishing third in the league, qualified for the play-offs and managed to beat QotS and Hibs to face Motherwell in the play-off final. Unfortunately, they lost in both legs so remained in the Championship for another season.
