After a slow start, Rangers go top of the Third Division with comfortable home victory at sold out Ibrox Stadium.

Next to nothing to do other than pick the ball out of the net in first few minutes.

Better than at Peterhead last week and created second goal with fine, curling cross.

Seemed unsure of himself in the first half buit steadied the ship after half-time.

Once again the captain struggled badly for long periods and it's difficult to understand his sudden fall from consistency.

Took a while to get into the game but eventually made his mark with his first hat-trick for the first XI.  Could and should have scored many more though.

Didn't have a great first half but ran the show after the break. Starting to recover from hernia operation and regain full fitness.

The Ulsterman took a knock early on so was substituted quickly for young Barrie McKay.

Always a willing runner on the left flank, Wallace was another who showed up better from last week's draw.

Spanish striker seemed to be trying too hard at times and was snatching at chances created for him.  However, he worked hard and will be delighted to have scored on his first start.

Utility man was moved back into central midfield and, like others, struggled for first part of the game before growing in stature after the break.

Exciting young forward changed the game after replacing the injured Shiels.  His trickery and pace were a real handful for the visitors and delighted the huge home crowd.

The Brazilian centre-half replaced the injured Lee Wallace with 15mins to go and looked every inch the Serie A player he used to be.  More difficult tests ahead though.

The former Scotland man again got the last ten mins and did have one 'goal' disallowed for a marginal offside call.
