Rangers once again capitulate at Palmerston as Queens make the most of their chance to make up ground in the race for the promotion play-offs.
Rangers team and formation
Lee Robinson'Keeper failed to command his defence well and unusually for him his distribution was woeful. Well beaten at each of the goals.
Darren McGregorFull-back worked hard enough but his limitations in attack were all too obvious as Rangers created nothing down the right side.
Marius ZaliukasPosted missing at the second goal, the big defender was far too passive throughout the game.
Bilel Mohsni (Gersnet Man of the Match)One of few Rangers players who actually looked like he cared about winning the game. Tried to to influence the match but lost his discipline late on.
Lee WallaceArguably our best player of recent weeks was captain for the night but failed to lead from the front. Powderpuff at opening goal and lacklustre attitude afterwards. A big let down.
Haris VuckicSlovenian was marked out of the game by Queens and failed to stamp his authority in the final third. Anonymous.
Andy MurdochIt says a lot when one of our youngest players was possibly our best midfield performer. Worked hard but lack of pace was exposed on the break.
Nicky LawMoved back into central midfield, a lot of responsibility was on the Englishman to provide a spark going forward. Once again he capitulated. His future at the club must be in doubt.
David TempletonThe winger is often excused by fans for not being given a chance. Last night he got it but, despite being on the ball many times in the opening period, not once did he put in a decent cross. Disappeared after half-time.
Kenny MillerLooping header came off the bar in the first half but that was one of few touches in the game. Not sure he even touched the ball in the second half. Another senior player who absolves himself of responsibility.
Nicky ClarkAs usual Clark worked hard enough but a lack of service and his own obvious limitations means he couldn't affect the game.
Robbie CrawfordTried to spark the midfield into life for last half hour but couldn't really get into the game.
Ryan HardieWas given 20mins to try and change things up front but with no service had to live on scraps.
Kris BoydThe former Scotland player did manage to find space on occasion but a combination of poor finishing and dreadful touch resulted in another barren contribution.
