Today the club officially launched their new home strip produced by PUMA.
Interestingly, despite the obvious problems with the Rangers Retail deal which appears to suggest other parties benefit more from merchandising purchases than the club, interim chairman Paul Murray said "Rangers appreciate Puma’s support and are delighted to be in a partnership with such a prestigious company. I believe this alliance brings together two of the most iconic brands in sport.”
Furthermore, as you can see from the Youtube video above, the club have also promoted the launch heavily on their website and social media channels which suggests recent meetings between board members and Mike Ashley may have resulted in a somewhat tentative moratorium on negative publicity with regard to existing retail contracts.
So what do you think? Will you be buying the strip or will you opt for one of the unofficial protest shirts? Perhaps you care little for the politics and will make your decision on the design alone? Please share your opinion via the simple Gersnet poll below![sexypolling id="1"]
